Applying to UCAS and Oxbridge as an overseas student, I found Josh to be extremely helpful. His advice and prep for my UCAS application, personal statement, and interviews made a big difference. Totally reliable, knowledgeable and approachable, I would highly recommend Joshua. He has provided my daughter with exactly what she needed from a tutor. He has listened to her needs and adapted the content and his teaching style accordingly. She is 100% more confident about her AS level philosphy exam than she was just a few weeks ago, and he has convinced her that she can go for that high grade which previously she felt she had no chance of achieving.

Joshua was extremely accommodating at short notice and helped my daughter in a professional and understanding manner. We are very pleased with the progress our son Tom has made since starting his sessions with Josh, recently moving up a whole academic set in English at school! Toms English teacher has commented that she had seen a marked improvement in his work around the same time that Tom had been seeing Josh for a few weeks. We have noted in particular how Tom is allowed time to explore and find the right answer for himself or critique his own performance, rather than being simply told what to do. It has been very helpful for Tom to focus on the variety of texts/writing styles that could feature in future exams.

Josh, as a tutor was highly professional in his attitude but was also approachable and enthusiastic about his subject. He helped to greatly increase my basic economic knowledge which I felt I lacked until I undertook 1-1 tutoring. Josh has greatly increased my chances of getting the A-level grades that I need, not just in economics but in my other subjects due to the techniques he helped me develop. Josh was also very flexible with times and availability. I would strongly recommend using Josh to any economic student who is trying to further their knowledge.

Josh tutored me in AQA A Level Economics and he was great. I really needed all the complicated language of the text books broken down in a simple way and Josh helped me understand the a lot of the concepts by just explaining them in his own way. He was great at making sure I exhausted all my ideas for an answer before he gave his input which got me to think for myself more which is good for the exam. He is a very energetic and engaging tutor and always makes sure you understand exactly what your meant to before he moves on. I felt he really wanted me to do well and would always go that extra mile which encouraged me a lot. I would recommend him to anyone doing A Level economics as its always best to get another opinion on what you think is right, especially since the exam is very much based on the judgements of the examiner. Although i haven't received my results yet i definately felt more confident going into the exam with Josh's help.

Due to my other commitments I was only able to meet with Joshua on one occasion for a tutorial in Comparative Politics. However, I was very impressed with his organisational skills as he wished to have full details of all the topics which I wished to cover and the problems I had encountered in my studies before the tutorial and in a very short period of time assimilated my requirements. He provided excellent tuition in discussing and explaining the concepts with which I required assistance and was prepared to spend as long a period as I required in the tutorial… Therefore he is obviously a very focused and organised tutor. whom I am sure would be able to provide excellent tutorials explaining all the required principles. He was prepared to meet me at extremely short notice to help me with my revision very shortly before an exam and therefore seems exceptionally keen to assist students if at all possible. Whilst I only had one tutorial due to my own commitments, this proved invaluable to my revision and I am absolutely sure had a tremendous impact on my final grade. I would most certainly recommend him based on my experience.

Very helpful. I feel that with Josh's help my essay writing skills have improved. He was very friendly, efficient and clearly spent time and effort looking through the material that I was studying. This made his tutorials relevant and worthwhile. The commitment he showed to try and get me to improve upon my previous essays gave me a lot more confidence in my own abilities to succeed. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who was wishing to be successful in their studies.

My son has been with Joshua for 5 weeks now and is finding
the tuition a great help. Joshua sets and marks homework and gives
