Head of English at the only school with World Class status in Greater Manchester.

I have experience with all ability levels and a proven record of making English relatable, accessible and memorable.

Last years past rate was 87%- this was with a cohort of 268 pupils. 87% of these pupils passed either literature or language.

Tutoring Experience

80 percent pass rate
20 percent of pupils' grades improved by 2 or more grades.

Tutoring Approach

I approach English and teach it in a formulaic way so that pupils are able to not only access exams and the subject, but remember how to do so when in exams and assessments.
