I am a professional musician, having started playing drums at age 3.
Coming from a musical household, I live and breath music and art, I take great joy from students building and developing their own relationship with the arts.

Tutoring Experience

Teaching- Private tuition for the last 8 years, tuition in schools and and music programs for 5 years. I have taught students of all ages and stages, from age 5 to as 70, catering for all grades and undergraduate level performers.
As a performer I have have the privilege of playing in the London Jazz circuit regularly ( Ronnie Scotts, 606, Hampstead Jazz club, Vortex, Olivers) and have player tours across Europe.

Tutoring Approach

I think it really important to find a source of inspiration, so I like to understand the students likes/dislikes in music, favourite musicians, composers and improvisers. Then tailer a specific practise routine for the student to inform their personal development on the instrument, and their listening skills musically. It is about their relationship with music and the instrument.
