I am a Spanish and French teacher currently working in a secondary school and 6th form in South Bristol. I studied English and Hispanic Studies at University, and have spent time living in Spain and Argentina. I have also completed a CELTA qualification and have previously worked as a English and a Foreign Language tutor.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified Secondary School Teacher of French and Spanish. I have extensive experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and Spanish GCSE and A-level (AQA exam board).

I am also a Cambridge CELTA-qualified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I have taught English in private institutes and offered private tuition to children from the age of 4, teenagers and adults.

Tutoring Approach

I ensure that all lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, meaning that lessons are fully personalised and adapted to your specific needs and way of learning.

I will focus on all 4 skills (speaking, reading, writing and listening) and we will use a variety of games, roleplays, worksheets, video clips and authentic texts to encourage as much speaking in the target language.

If you are preparing for an exam, we will work closely together to ensure that the exam board specifications are met. As well as working through past papers, we work on exam technique and look at the marking criteria.
