My daughter Charlie needed help with her Maths A level. For personal reasons, she had missed quite a bit of her first and second AS terms schooling. Julie is providing weekly hour long on-line lessons and sets and marks homework. This has been supporting Charlie for about six months now.
Charlie says Julie is really nice and "knows her stuff". Charlie finds Julie's lessons are helping her catch up with and consolidate the topics she missed. The two of them get on well. Julie's lessons are boosting Charlie's self-confidence, an area that needed help.
I was pleased to find, when looking for a tutor to help Charlie, that Julie has extensive examining experience in Maths A level for the Edexcel Board that Charlie is sitting. Julie is absolutely reliable and always prepared. We plan to continue with lessons from Julie into Charlie's second A level year.

Julie is very knowledgeable about the curriculum, and has a great way of teaching making sure the topic is understood. My son is enjoying her lessons which she prepares in advance . He particularly likes that she goes over thoroughly any topics he is less confident in. I would have no hesitation recommending her.

Julie is a very good tutor, she has structured lessons that my daughter finds very helpful.

Julie has done a very thorough job so far in the build-up to the A-level Maths exam. She has provided detailed guidance on how to approach specific questions, and has explained things in a clear and understanding way. Julie is very well organised, and very prompt, clear and helpful in her communications with me.

Julie's teaching style is excellent. My son in year 13 really benefits from his lessons with her. His confidence in being able to understand the subject and tackle questions has very much increased, even just within the 2 months that he has been attending on-line lessons with her.

We first hired Julie for some additional A level support for my son. Julie has been a great tutor, she explains things in a clear and concise manner and is patient and encouraging. She consistently delivers a good lesson and my son’s confidence in maths is increasing after patchy school teaching during covid. Very happy!

I cannot make any comments on her teaching as we didn’t have any lesson with her. Had to change the tutor as exam board was different.

Julie is a superb A level maths tutor. Her online lessons, whilst keeping everyone Covid safe, are focused and extremely productive with the added bonus of negating the need for either party to spend time travelling. I feel blessed to have found Julie as her ability to teach a difficult subject is second to none. Consequently my son is thoroughly enjoying his lessons and doing very well. Thank you Julie.

Julie has helped me to feel more confident when tackling various topics. I like the structure of the lessons and how we go from basics up to the harder questions for each topic. The homework really helps me to consolidate everything I go over in the lessons. I would definitely recommend Julie

Julie has been preparing our son for GCSE Maths since January. Initially she assessed which topics he required additional support with and created a schedule for the tutoring sessions to cover these. Julie has a good teaching technique and our son is feeling confident about his upcoming exams. We highly recommend Julie as a Maths tutor.

As we didn't begin tutoring straight away, my daughter has had just two sessions so far. My impression is that Julie is very professional and friendly. She has accommodated our preferences as far as she can regarding day and time and sets suitable work to be done between lessons. We are pleased to have her as our tutor.

Julie has helped my daughter achieve an A in her A Level maths, she helped increase my daughter's grade from a C to an A. She is very friendly, patient and an amazing teacher and I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a maths tutor

Julie is very professional and reliable. She prepares well in advance for each lesson, however she can also respond to last minute requests.
She is a friendly person and is enthusiastic about her subject.

Julie is a great tutor. She identified weak areas in our son's knowledge which she then targeted methodically. She has a calm manner too which also helped increase our son's self confidence. He felt very comfortable with her and never felt any question was 'too silly.'
