I am a teacher of French and Spanish living in Leatherhead working in a local HMC independent school as well as a GCSE examiner. I also have a son and in my free time I enjoy all outdoor activities.
I am a qualified languages teacher currently working in a secondary school in Leatherhead. I teach French to A2 level and Spanish to GCSE and am able to use a variety of techniques to assist my pupils. I am experienced in teaching IGCSE and GCSE in both French and Spanish and teach this qualification regularly. I am also a GCSE examiner for French so have excellent understanding of the course and exam requirements. I previously worked in a school in Kent before moving to Surrey and prior to this worked as a lawyer in a City law firm. Part of my work here involved training and mentoring of trainees and am currently mentoring potential Oxbridge candidates in school.
I believe in tailoring sessions to the individual and allowing the pupil to progress at their own pace. I have high expectations of all my pupils and believe that everyone has the ability to succeed. I think that a sound grammatical knowledge is the key to success. I hope to be able to help progress student's linguistic abilities at all levels.
I have experience in tutoring both face to face and online. I can provide sessions on Zoom or FaceTime to all levels.
