I'm a design engineer working in the defence sector, having graduated in 2022 with a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Salford. I love to engage in tasks which require mathematical and logical thinking. I enjoy sharing this passion with others by working with them to understand mathematical concepts or difficult problems, and providing students with the tools they need to feel they can conquer any topic they are struggling with.

Tutoring Experience

I have informal teaching experience during my time at university, offering sessions to first and second year students struggling with maths and aerodynamics modules.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to learning is based on what I found most effective during my years in education: Understand, apply, solve, and repeat! I believe the best way to tackle a topic is to understand the basics and to apply it to a problem as soon as you can. Practicing will cement what you have learned and reveal to you what you do not yet understand, and from there you can inquire, learn how to solve it, and increase the complexity until you have mastered the topic.
