I am a qualified Secondary Science Teacher currently working in Birmingham with a BSc in Pharmaceutical Science and a MSc in Pharmacokinetics from Aston University. I am also a qualified examiner for AQA.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutoring experience of 5 years, having taught on a one to one basis as well as small groups. I can cater for Combined Science students at foundation and higher level as well as Triple Sciences. I also cover A-Level Chemistry.

Tutoring Approach

Tutoring offered will be tailored to the needs of each student. My approach is being open, flexible and adaptive with my students to enable them to achieve their full potential and to optimise each session.
Initially, I would assess the students understanding of a topic before identifying the strengths and weaknesses to then work from. I would also use the first session to understand the best way the student learns. I use a range of strategies to engage students such as quizzes, homework tasks as well as past paper questions.
