I have been a successful teacher in a thriving secondary school for over 10 years.
I have developed a true passion for teaching and developing young creative minds to THINK.
I believe that being a teacher/ tutor is much more than just getting across the key concepts to pass an exam. It is an opportunity to help students develop key skills which will enable them to become beacons of society.
I am passionate about students actually understanding everything they are taught and then able to implement it in everyday life.
Through my years of teaching a wide range of pupils from different backgrounds and abilities I am able to tailor support in a way which will benefit the individual pupils needs. Thus ensuring progress will be made in every session.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working at secondary school for the past 10 years.
I have delivered a range of subjects including Maths, Computer Science and RE.
I am currently the head of Computer Science across 2 Sheffield Schools.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that every person has a different way of learning and absorbing information. I feel that the first step in building a successful relationship with students is to understand the way in which they learn best. I have a very calm, understanding and professional approach to teaching which makes the student feel comfortable. I ensure that everything I teach is done in an enjoyable fashion so students are having fun while learning. This has been a successful and proven method which I adapt accordingly. I also have wealth of knowledge of teaching student with Special Education Needs and provide myself on my ability to be able to differentiate work in a way which all students can access depending upon their specific needs.
