I graduated from University of Hertfordshire with a first class masters degree in Software Engineering. Working in London for over 10 years working as a Lead Software Engineer and People Manager has allowed me to develop a track record of continually improving self-esteem, confidence and behaviour amongst my team members.

I thrive under pressure and I am happy to accept any new challenges. I am easy to get along with and have excellent communication skills. I am also punctual and reliable. Through the experience I have gained from my jobs I have excellent communication skills which I think is a characteristic essential, for a job which involves working with children and young people. Moreover, I am a friendly outgoing person who gets on with people well, which I think is vital in a job where I would be interacting with parents and pupils. My experience to date has given me a better understanding of children and young people’s needs and my drive and ambition would ensure I would be a great tutor for your child!

Tutoring Experience

I have been a private tutoring since 2017 teaching different levels and ages. I currently teach most programming languages, basic of programming/computing for kids and adults, helping university students with their programming homework, preparation for technical interviews etcetera. Being a private tutor has allowed me to see the personal and educational development of several pupils which I love.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching method is to fully understand my students needs and engage with them on whatever level they are on. I firmly believe that if we put our minds to something, we will always get it, nothing is impossible or above understanding!

I would provide assistance across the full spectrum of age and ability, from those facing particular challenges with their learning to assisting gifted students seeking to extend their studies. I have worked with children who have varying abilities (gifted and talented, autism, dyslexia, sight problems and English as an additional language).
