My name is Karina. I am a doctor working in the NHS having qualified in 2017. Prior to my degree in medicine I studied Experimental Psychology at Oxford University.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a personal tutor since 15 years. I do it because it is something that I really enjoy. I have taught various subjects over the years. I am currently offering tutoring for:

  • Medicine university preparation this includes: personal statement writing, UKCAT, BMAT and interview preparation.
  • University level psychology
  • Scottish higher or A-level in biology and psychology.

Tutoring Approach

I really enjoy teaching! I believe that I order for my students to achieve their best my role as a tutor is to build confidence, stimulate interest and consolidate knowledge. I recognise the difference in learning styles between individuals and employ a range of teaching approaches to address these always tailored to the individual student.
