I am a qualified Science Teacher. I completed my undergraduate in Applied Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science and I also have a PGCE in Secondary Chemistry. I have undegone a thorough vetting process (due to unrelated work for the Ministry of Justice) resulting in a valid DBS and enhanced SC security clearance.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching Chemistry, Physics and Biology at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I have worked in industry as a Method Validation Scientist and Quality Assurance Analyst. I have 7 years of experience tutoring students privately. I have consistently helped my students reach the higher grades boundaries through my results driven approach.

Tutoring Approach

My primary goal is to prepare the student to tackle their exam. I will provide 1 to 1 instruction on topics and focus heavily on completing mock exam questions. Understanding the mark scheme and knowing what examiners are looking for is vital. I will target topics and concepts that the student is struggling with and reaffirm topics that the student is comfortable with.
