I am very passionate about making a difference to the children I teach. I am a parent as well as a teacher and enjoy spending time with my family whenever we can.
Outside of work, I really enjoy baking, going to watch musical theatre and long walks.
I have nearly 26 years of teaching experience. The first 14 years of my teaching career, I taught secondary school drama in Key Stages Three, Four and Five.
I then moved into primary teaching where I have been since. I have experience of teaching 3 years olds all the way up to 11 year olds but my most in depth experiences have been in Years 2-5.
I am patient and understand that not every child finds learning and/or concentration easy. I am always willing to adapt my lessons to make them accessible for all children because I want them to feel confident they can make progress and succeed in their learning journey.
