I have taught English/Literature to GCSE for over 35 years.
My GCSE students attain good examination results in both English Language and English Literature. I am able to work with students for all the exam boards.
Tutoring Experience
I am a qualified teacher with have a BEd Hons Degree, MEd, and National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
I have taught in 4 Secondary Schools during my career. My students always improved and attained their best results. I am a Governor of a Primary and a Secondary School.
I led an English team and as Vice Principal led assessment for the whole school.
I have DBS certificate as I am a Governor at a Primary and Secondary School. I can therefore also offer help to NQTs applying for first jobs or seasoned teachers looking for promotion.
Tutoring Approach
I offer one to one tutoring in GCSE English and English Literature.
The first session is free and is an assessment for you to see if you can work with me and for me to ensure that I can help you to reach your target.
I usually work from home between 4pm and 7pm Monday to Friday. Feel free to contact me so we can discuss your requirements.
