High-achieving, diligent and friendly Oxbridge tutor available.
I am an experienced, and attentive tutor with over ten years experience of tutoring privately in homes across London, the UK and internationally, alongside a career as a professional musician. I have worked in primary and secondary schools as an educational facilitator, delivering workshops with large groups, and mentoring young people one-to-one in mainstream and SEN school settings.
I graduated from Cambridge University in 2012 and then worked as an assistant to an educational psychologist, developing resources for effective learning with independent schools across the country. I worked for four months with a Steiner influenced charity in the Republic of Georgia where I ran music and ecology classes and taught English as a foreign language.
I have a masters in Music and spent two years working as programme manager for an education charity delivering environmental workshops and lessons in secondary schools.
I am currently a professional musician and teacher. I am passionate about fostering a love of learning in my students. I am sensitive, enthusiastic and experienced working with children and young people of all ages.

As a tutor I believe it is my responsibility to tailor the style of learning to each individual and to bring my creativity and attention to detail into academic settings where all can thrive, but some just need a little bit of extra help! I encourage students to ask as many questions and discover as many answers for themselves as possible, fostering a long term interest and love of their subject, as well as ensuring that the tutee has understood topics fully. I am committed to developing your child's commitment to and understanding of a subject in an environment which ensures they have plenty of fun along the way!
I develop a rigorous tuition programme with all my students and in conversation with parents, schools or other tutors who are involved. I am very confident creating my own syllabus of work in response to your needs, and am equally happy to work through schemes of work set out by school teachers, educational psychologists or others. Often my work involves a combination of the two!
Please do not hesitate to get in touch, and I would be happy to talk through what you need and how I can help.
