I am a first-class recent graduate in Politics and International Relations from the LSE. I have a deep interest in international security, and hope to pursue this later in life. I also speak French to a C1 standard, and enjoy spending time in France.
I volunteered as a French and History tutor throughout sixth form and university, devising and delivering individual lessons and courses according to the students' needs. I was also an academic mentor during my time at university, supporting younger students with individual modules given my strong academic record.
For Politics and History, focus on building core essays skills, widely applicable to humanities subjects. Bring in knowledge of the subject across the course of lessons, using essay-style questions to apply and retain key information required for exams. Lessons are easily adjustable and can be individualised according to the specific needs of the student.
For French, begin with a focus on grammar lessons and vocabulary / spelling tests, with an emphasis on the required knowledge for exams. Lessons are easily adjustable and can be individualised according to the specific needs of the student.
