Katie

I'm Katie and I am an English tutor based in the Oxford area. I have a first-class Honours degree in English Literature and German from the University of Hertfordshire and also a Masters degree with distinction from King's College London. I am currently pursuing doctoral study at Christ Church, University of Oxford, where I am a Leverhulme Scholar in English.

Tutoring Experience

I have provided personal tutoring for over three years now and have also held various paid teaching positions. I was the dedicated English Literature tutor at the Bucksmore Education London Advanced Skills Summer School in 2018 and was also Graduate Teaching Assistant at a North London school last academic year. I also have experience coaching students through their university applications, personal statements, and further study proposals.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is student-focused and looks to helping students achieve their own personal goals. I also have experience with specialised approaches for students with SEN needs.
