Katie has been tutoring my daughter for a few weeks now and has been absolutely brilliant! Katie is proactive, well organised, is clearly knowledgeable about both her subject matter and how to tailor this to student requirements. Most importantly Katie has been fantastic at making the tutoring sessions really enjoyable. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone looking for a Spanish tutor, she is a pleasure to work with!

Katie has been an absolutely brilliant tutor for our daughter taking her GCSE's. Since being tutored with Katie, not only has her language construction, written and verbal vastly improved, but so has her confidence in speaking Spanish informally and for fun. She's enjoying speaking, understanding and engaging with the language in many ways. Katie has been diligent in following up her progress, keeping her on track and made it an enjoyable experience. Thank you Katie. And it goes without say I would highly recommend her.

Anni's confidence in French has grown rapidly since starting lessons with Katie. Anni has a newly found enthusiasm for the subject and says that Katie is always happy and makes learning 'fun'.

Katie communicates well and we are always aware of what is being covered and any useful resources are emailed in advance.

In a nutshell, Anni did not enjoy French at school and had been moved from top set to the bottom set; Katie has helped to turn this around and Anni is now loving French lessons with her and has already moved up a set at school.

We hope to continue lessons with Katie for the foreseeable future and wholeheartedly recommend her as an outstanding tutor. Her lessons are thoroughly enjoyable and comprehensive as Anni says that Katie always makes sure that the content is clear and understood.

I've been having lessons with Katie for a few months now, and am very satisfied with the quality of the lessons. She is very helpful and approachable, which makes lessons more relaxed.

Katie is an awesome tutor!

She tailors sessions specifically to my ability, with methods that best suit me. The result is really fun lessons that I gain an awful lot from. I've noticed such a huge improvement over the last 2 months, all thanks to Katie. She has a very positive way of pushing you forward and getting the very best from you.

We engaged Katie to help my daughter at the beginning of lockdown to help my daughter with her GCSE Spanish and to build her confidence in speaking Spanish. Lily felt completely at ease with Katie from the first lesson and enjoys every single lesson with Katie. She obtained grade 9 at GCSE , is taking Spanish A level and wants to study Spanish at University. I don’t think this would have been possible without Katie’s guidance .

My 8 year old twin daughters have been having online lessons with Katie for six months. Their French is progressing brilliantly, their vocabulary and their accent. Katie hits a perfect balance for their age of learning and having fun. They play games and have a relaxed banter that makes the hour lessons whizz past. Both girls really look forward to their lessons and feel proud of themselves for how much they’re learning. I’m hoping Katie continues to teach my daughters online for many months/years into the future. She’s fab!

Katie is an excellent tutor. She is currently tutoring my 7 year old niece Spanish. With Katie's help, my niece has been assessed has having a Spanish level two years above her school year and as a result will learn the language at her actual ability level with online school. From my sister, my nieces mummy: "She’s wonderful, great listener and fun". My niece has only had 4 lessons so far, however she has really understood my niece well, my niece loves lessons with Katie. We can see the tutoring as a long-term thing, particularly in school holiday's and or when things go back to normal and children can go to school in person it would be great to have lessons with Katie weekly. Also Katie's knowledge of French helps as my niece previously was learning French in school. In the future we would potentially like to have lessons with Katie both in Spanish and French depending on the school curriculum. I have already recommended Katie to several people and clientele.

I highly recommend Katie. My daughter had lost confidence with her Spanish teaching at school and Katie helped my daughter gain a Grade 6 GCSE. Katie has taught me French for the whole of the summer and I have to say, it was one of the best decisions that I've ever made. She is beyond incredible as a teacher, but also a friend, that managed to make me feel so welcomed to her tutor sessions. Katie is the most flexible and empathetic tutor I could imagine of having. Katie's proactive energy rubs off with her effective teaching methods/styles. Noticeably, she is capable of altering for any type of learner which I found important for myself! This ensured me to be as comfortable as I can be when having French lessons with Katie. I highly recommend Katie as anyone's tutor for French and also Spanish. I look forward to having more sessions with Katie in the near future where I can confidently say, I shall learn much more French!

Katie is an excellent tutor; she is dedicated, has seemingly endless patience and makes the lessons fun.

The tone and the content of each lesson is imaginative, carefully thought out and tailored for us - our daughter is only 4 but is really enjoying herself whilst learning another language. I couldn't be happier with how we're progressing and cannot recommend Katie highly enough.

Katie is a highly competent language tutor. She has been helping my daughter catch up with her French GCSEs since Oct 2016. Her tuition showed almost immediate results in improved grades for my daughter. Katie's considerable linguistic skills are put to use in a friendly and approachable teaching style. After every session my daughter's comment is that she understand new things that she previously struggled with. We are grateful to Katie, and can recommend her wholeheartedly.

Katie was just wonderful with our fifteen year old son. He was getting ready for his GCSE's and needed a little encouragement with his revision. Katie tested him with GCSE papers and pronunciation. I could always hear him laughing away when they went through the work together, and this is what its all about, learning must be fun and Katie has a wonderful ability to quickly build rapport and gain the trust and respect of her tutees. Brilliant communication and a speedy response to our initial enquiry. My daughter has just had her first 2 sessions with Katie, one for A Level french and one in A Level spanish. Having taken the time to speak to my daughter in depth to find out what sort of support she was looking for before the sessions Katie was extremely well prepared when she arrived at our house and none of the time was wasted. Katie was knowledgeable, very friendly and has an infectious enthusiasm for the subjects which has helped to put my daughter at ease and has given her a much needed confidence boost. She found the sessions enjoyable and very effective, even after just these 2 sessions there has been a noticeable improvement and she is looking forward to working together with Katie to achieve the goals she has set herself.
