I have a degree in Medical Physiology and Therapeutics BSc, which has given me a deep understanding of the anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the human body. I have a great understanding of complex biological concepts, and I’m passionate about making these topics accessible and engaging for students. Having achieved an A* in A-Level Biology, I understand what it takes to excel and am committed to helping students reach their full potential through clear explanations, exam-focused strategies, and a supportive teaching style.

Tutoring Experience

I tutored GCSE level students while completing my A-Levels through a school-led mentoring scheme. Furthermore, while completing my degree I tutored A-Level Biology to family friends and friends of friends online. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain complex topics in a clear and relatable way

Tutoring Approach

I am very patient and adaptable. I understand not everyone learns at the same pace. I'm happy to change my approach to suit the student, whether that be using their curriculum to explain in a different way than previously taught to allow understanding, working through tasks set, working through online resources or answering any questions the student may have. I am more than happy to explain the tips and tricks that helped me achieve high grades and how I was able to balance my academics.
