Katrina's Feedback

We have a bright but nervous ADHD powered son who has just started his lower sixth studies, Katrina has developed an excellent relationship with him, to the point that he looks forwards every week to his lessons. Katrina clearly has fabulous charm and charisma, able to communicate enthusiasm and academic drive. Delighted with the progress so far.

Katrina put Frida at ease from the moment the lesson started, she was bubbly, patient and really took time to listen to how Frida learns, so that she could tailor the lesson to Frida's needs. She asked Frida lots of questions about how she revises, recommended some books that Frida might find useful and really made Frida feel part of the learning journey. We both think we have found the perfect match for Frida and Frida is really looking forward to working on her sociology, and by default many other subjects, over the coming months with Katrina.

Katrina has been helping my daughter Lily with her GCSE English over the last 5 months. She has made a big difference in a short space of time. The one on one tuition has given my daughter more confidence with Katrina's encouraging approach.
I would highly recommend Katrina to anyone studying English.

Katrina has been tutoring my son in psychology and sociology since October 2023. I am extremely pleased with the progress he has made. His overall marks have improved and this is largely down to Katrina's support, not only in teaching the subjects themselves but in helping him organise his work schedule and implement revision techniques. Katrina has been great with my daughter who is really enjoying studying GCSE Psychology with her. Katrina is calm and very encouraging without putting too much pressure on her student, but at the same time is very focused on the coursework and sets clear targets and milestones for achieving the best marks. Katrina is an amazing tutor who helped me to prepare for A level Psychology and Sociology. I strongly recommend Katrina as she helped me with explaining all of the material I needed to go through and also helped to improve my exam techniques, which boosted my grades!

Always ensured she was on time for the sessions, kept me in the know with my daughters studies and also addressed any matter raised regarding the sessions. Very friendly and generous with her help and advice to her approach to study and revision. I do believe my daughter will do well as a result of her help.

Katrina has been such an amazing tutor, she’s helped me improve my a level psychology grades significantly in a short period of time. Every session is fun and enjoyable and it’s really helped me feel more confident during the run up to my a level exams, despite being affected by covid.

Katrina works really well with our son. He gets a lot of clarity and understanding of the subject matter from his sessions and says that it does not feel like a school lesson. Which is one of the worries he had initially about having a tutor.
