I am a primary school teacher and have experience teaching in KS1 and KS2. I myself had tutoring as a child and have seen the benefits of having the time to work one to one with a child who can then understand the building blocks of learning that are vital to academic progress.

Tutoring Experience

I am a primary school teacher who has taught for the last 10 years . I have also taught KS2 so am familiar with both KS 1 and KS 2 SATS. I can also offer support for the 11 + examination.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is to encourage children to develop their learning independently and to make it fun . I always use concrete equipment in Maths for example as this makes it relevant to real life. I want children to be life long learners and to love learning for themselves not just to pass exams.
