Hi, I’m Kaviduni—a Biomedical Science graduate from St George’s University of London with Honours in Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience. I’m passionate about education and enjoy helping students understand challenging topics in a way that feels clear, achievable, and empowering.
I began tutoring as a peer mentor in secondary school and have supported students aged 5 to 18 across English, Maths, Sciences, and Psychology. I’ve worked with learners at various key stages including 11+, GCSEs and A-Levels. Alongside tutoring, I volunteer at Springfield Hospital’s acute psychiatric ward and have also led primary school workshops through educational outreach programmes. These roles have strengthened my ability to teach with patience, sensitivity, and structure.
My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and tailored to the individual. I believe in active learning—lessons are interactive, goal-focused, and paced according to each student’s needs. I combine clear explanations with practice questions, demonstrations, study strategies, and regular feedback to build both confidence and long-term understanding. I aim to make students feel comfortable, capable, and motivated to learn.
