I am a qualified English teacher who has experience teaching KS3 and GCSE English Literature and Language. My past experience includes working as a teaching assistant. This role enabled me to work with students with specific learning difficulties including autism, and I have SEN diploma level 2,3 and 4. I have also taught English to other nationalities.
I have been tutoring English language and English literature GCSE since 2012. I am experienced at helping dyslexic children gain confidence and pass their GCSE English, aswell as developing confidence and knowledge in higher ability students
I believe in setting high expectations for learners which can encourage them to achieve success. Communication with students is an important quality and an important tool as learners need to be clear about what is expected of them through accurate, clear information. I encourage students to flourish, and I am extremely proud when students' work hard to achieve their set goals and aspirations.
