Online Maths and Physics Lessons

I teach physics in a grammar school under Buckinghamshire County. I have expertise in physics and maths and specialised in teaching them for a number of years.

Tutoring Experience

Experience:
I teach physics and maths in a grammar school under Buckinghamshire County. I have expertise in physics, maths and 11+ and specialised in teaching them for a number of years.

Throughout my teaching career in various schools I have effectively taught physics and maths across key stages 3, 4 and 5. I have planned, prepared and delivered engaging and challenging lessons which enable all students to make good progress in their learning and to score good GCSE and A-Level grades. I have gained experience and built specialism in adapting my methods and approach according to the needs of the pupils both individually and collectively that I teach.

Results:
I am very familiar with new GCSE grading system and can teach across all boards under that requirement. Due to my specialism in the subjects and in the integrated new system 100% of my Y9 - Y11 students are in their target grades.

2021 GCSE results were absolutely astonishing for my students.
Where in physics and maths

• 55% achieved grade 9,
• 33% achieved Grade – 8 and
• Rest of them at Grade - 7

I am expecting a very good next year for my current GCSE students as well.

11+ / Independent School Admission:
I also have been successfully teaching and building confidence in my students in all academic aspects of 11+ and independent school admission tests for number of years. I am really as passionate and enthusiastic about coaching my students and prepare them to a high standard for their 11+ entrance exams into various levels of institutions such as: ETON College, Grammar Schools etc.

Pricing Strategy:
I have a flat rate of £40/hour (Per student). But currently I am running a promotion and the hourly rate I am charging at £35/hour for GCSE and 11+ students. There is no change in hourly charges for AS/ A level students.

Special discount strategy:
I have a special discount strategy for every group or category of students. Please contact me for more details.

Training / Expertise:
I am passionate about learning and constantly seek to improve and to adapt my skills based on best practice and active research. I have built good subject knowledge and understanding of all science subjects throughout my PGCE training.
However, being an aeronautical engineering graduate my specialisms are physics and mathematics. Also prior to my PGCE training I have completed a 24 weeks subject knowledge enhancement course with new GCSE Curriculums across all boards in physics from university of Sussex in 2016. So my knowledge and understandings of those two subjects I believe to be much steeper than any other subjects. I also have built expertise in all aspects of 11+ materials for number of years. I always keep very keen and close interest in developing my subject expertise through research.

Feedback / Communications:
I have gained experience and built a habit on providing regular written and verbal feedback on pupils’ work by marking their classwork and homework. When appropriate, I communicate with the parents and guardians regularly to give clear and constructive feedback about their progress.

Progressing Ambitions:
I like to dream high personally and collectively. My aims and goals for my students are high so as my expectations. I heavily promote ‘Growth mind-set’ to make sure my students are perfectly independent learners, appropriate risk takers, not afraid of falling and failing and cross the finish line with their heads held high despite of hundreds of obstacles. I provide continuous support to the students to grow and increase love for science and maths in them and to perform highly in their academic career. I regularly run mini exam workshops to help my students to score top grades in their board exams so that they can reach to the highest goals of their academic achievement. One of my biggest and long-term dream is to form a most able science club where the students will undertake challenging projects (such as building drones, modelling future eco-friendly cars, modelling living places to withstand natural calamity and many more) to help mankind for its greater good so that they can become a responsible global citizen and a better human being. These projects also will open up paths for them where they can apply and receive scholarships to get into Oxbridge or Ivy League universities to perform the rest of their academic education.
