From a very young age, I discovered that working with young people and helping them fulfill their full potential is something I thrived upon. Throughout my employment history I have worked extensively with young people in different learning environments. From mainstream schools and alternative provision school. These experiences have provided me with invaluable insight to supporting young people during their educational journey.
My role as a teacher is to ensure that all students are accessing the learning and making good progress. Whilst, providing an environment where learning is fun and thought provoking.
My role as a senior leader has shown me that every young person needs a champion, someone they can relate to and I fully believe in inclusive teaching.
I have had over 10 years teaching experience in an inner and outer London secondary schools and I have held my QTS since 2018.
I have taught English language and English Literature up to GCSE and I also teach GCSE and A Level Media Studies and Drama. I also have a Masters in Special Educational Needs.
My teaching style, is based on the pillars of academic success. Which is a balance of thorough knowledge, results-driven exam techniques and an emphasis on fun which encourages confidence, curiosity and enthusiasm.
