I am a qualified maths teacher (since 2011) and I have gained a 2.1 in Mathematics at Brunel University in 2009. I am passionate about Maths and in helping others to understand the subject.
I am a fully qualified Secondary Maths teacher and I have been teaching maths in a wide range of schools over the last 12 years. I have gained experience as deputy head of maths and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) Coordinator. I have also been tutoring for the past 20 years from primary through to A-Level.
I believe that Maths should be explained to the student in a way that is relevant to them. Also, I try to make Maths as fun as possible as this would help to 'de-mystify' the subject in a way that the student can understand. I am fully committed to ensuring the student gains confidence in maths and I use different methods based on the students learning style.
