I am a current 3rd year Dentistry Student. I have passion for teaching and for trying to have an individual approach to each child, with a goal of achieving the best possible progress with everyone.
I achieved 13 GCSE's with grades ranging from 9-6
I then studied A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and English and achieving A*-B in these subjects.
I hope to help students with their subjects and ensure they gain confidence in their areas of weakness.
I have previously taught students of primary school with their 11+ entrance exams as well as maths and english lessons. Having gone through the 11+ exams myself, I understood the content needed for these exams and guided the students through it.
I have also taught secondary school students with maths and sciences to understand the fundamentals in order to prepare them for their later years in GCSEs.
Lastly, I have tutored GCSE students in Maths, Chemistry and Biology with each student passing their exams with flying colours and a significant improvement to when they first started
I would describe my teaching approach as results driven. Since I typically work with students one on one, I always try to clearly define the goals with each one. Not what I want to achieve, but what they want to achieve, what they expect from our cooperation. Then, considering their current level of language skills, and what kind of personality they are, I come up with a clear plan for the entire year, including some milestones and tests, in order to evaluate our progress regularly. And just then do I choose my teaching methods, adjusting them to the plan and the ultimate goal we have with the student.
