With a passion for Psychology and Biology, I bring an enthusiastic and encouraging environment for learning. I believe that every individual has the potential, with the correct skills and foundations anything is possible. Having got my Psychology degree at Loughborough whilst playing Hockey for the university, I decided I wanted to inspire the next generation to fall in love with Psychology as much as I had.
Having taught Psychology (A Level) and Biology (GCSE) for over 8 years, I bring a wealth of knowledge to understanding exam technique and questions. I have taught in a range of settings, with the most recent being a 6th Form College, teaching over a 100 students a year to pass their exams. Previously I was a Head of Psychology whilst teaching GCSE Biology, which I led on the ciriculum and assessment. To this I bring a wealth of knowledge of the 2 subjects and understandings of how students best learn.
My teaching approach brings in the basics of Psychology and memory, enabling active recall throughout the process of learning. Each lesson, we will focus on a topic, whilst exploring exam techniques and content to create a full rounded understanding of the topic.
