I am a fully qualified, GTCS registered, primary school teacher. I am qualified to teach children of primary school age in all subject areas.
I specialise in support for learning with literacy, however, can combine literacy and numeracy support if required.
I work on building your child's confidence in the subject area and give them specialised support. I am reliable and committed.

Tutoring Experience

Over 20 years full time permanent teaching experience. I am fully disclosure Scotland/ PVG checked, and can provide proof of qualifications and experience if requested.
I am currently teaching secondary ASN; I have taught all primary stages with specific experience in introduction to reading and primary 1.
I have been home tutoring for many years and would be happy to provide parental recommendations.

Tutoring Approach

I use a multi-sensory approach to teaching and will plan tutoring sessions around the schemes currently used in your child's school, to allow consistency. I will establish the areas your child needs support in, however I am happy to adapt tutoring sessions to meet you or your child's requests.
