I am a passionate and experienced Teacher of History and Religious Studies. I gained a BA Hons in History from King's College London and a PGDE in History Teaching from UCL and I have been teaching in the classroom for 5 years.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching in Secondary Schools in London for 5 years. I am currently an Assistant Principal. I teach both History and Religious Studies to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (11-18). I have a proven track record at helping students to achieve the top grades in GCSE and A-Level examinations. I am also an examiner (marker) for GSCE History and Religious Studies meaning I know exactly how students can achieve the top grades.

Tutoring Approach

I have a rigorous knowledge focussed approach. I help students to feel confident in their knowledge through different assessment techniques and regular retrieval practice. I help students to achieve the top grades in History and Religious Studies exams by improving writing technique, providing model answers and giving detailed feedback on what to do to improve.
