My name is Kristian Peters and I am currently studying to become a doctor at Barts and the London's School of Medicine and Dentistry. Having achieved 44/45 IB points (equivalent of 4A*) with 7's achieved in both higher level Chemistry and Biology, I can deliver top quality teaching, catering to all levels and ensuring that students, amidst the uncertainty of our current climate, do not fall behind and achieve to the best of their abilities within this subject area. My speciality is within the sciences (Biology and Chemistry).

Tutoring Experience

I have been online tutoring for a year now and each student has remarked on how my input was invaluable in achieving their aspirations. Having completed my first year at medical school, I am continually developing my communication skills and believe that these are a key asset for delivery of first rate teaching.

Tutoring Approach

I always start by finding out where the student is at. In doing so, I can evaluate and adapt my approach to each individual and deliver a unique programme. I will then look to the syllabus for the subject and begin to consistently work through the subject matter until subject mastery is reached. I am a true advocate of past paper practice. This will form a key part of the teaching. By doing the questions, one can understand the style of questions that the exam board may ask whilst testing the recall of the subject matter and finding weak areas that can be channelled and improved.
