I am a 4th-year medical student at UCL with a strong passion for teaching and inspiring others to love Biology as much as I do. I achieved an A* in A-level Biology and a Grade 9 at GCSE Biology.
During my time as a sixth form student and throughout my gap year, I gained valuable experience tutoring A-level students in both Biology and Chemistry. This experience allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the curriculum and the challenges students often face when learning complex scientific concepts. I worked with students of varying abilities, from group settings to one-on-one teaching, by adapting my teaching methods to fit their individual needs, whether it was through simplifying difficult topics, providing additional practice materials, or offering tips for exam techniques. This hands-on experience not only strengthened my knowledge of these subjects but also enhanced my ability to communicate effectively and engage students in a way that makes learning both accessible and enjoyable.
I believe in getting to know each of my tutees personally to adapt my teaching methods to suit their unique learning styles and needs. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps each student reach their full potential in Biology.
