Hi! I'm Laila. I study veterinary medicine at the University of Liverpool. In school, I excelled in the subjects of science and maths and want to share my passion. I always take a positive approach with my students and try to encourage them as much as I can regardless of ability.

I have 2+ years of experience tutoring students in these subjects. I completed these subjects myself and achieved grade A at A-Level in both.

Tutoring Approach

When first getting to know a student, I like to use lots of learning techniques to see what works best for them. I might use past papers, practice questions, diagrams, and a lot more! I always prepare for my lessons in advance and check with the pupil what they would like to focus on- whether that's exam technique or learning content. Each student gets work tailored and dedicated to them. I'm all about boosting confidence and listening to my students!
