I’m delighted that Lamia has been my Arabic tutor for several weeks. She is the most effective teacher I have had. Lamia is very professional and reliable. She has a lovely, bright, energetic and enthusiastic personality. She is like a “mother figure” to her students.

I’m a mature student (aged 50) and have held senior positions within the legal industry but I’ve always struggled when attempting to learn languages, including Arabic. Lamia, skilfully, has got me to learn the basic Arabic alphabet quickly by asking me to learn letters and to repeat them. She helps by immediately correcting errors. She has a remarkably effective teaching style.

I couldn’t have found a better teacher. She’s helping me progress in a subject that I didn’t succeed in previously. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Lamia is a fantastic teacher, very patient and always willing to listen. In a short space of time my Arabic pronunciation has progressed and I am able to read Arabic text after 4 lessons. Lamia is always available if I ever need any help after lessons and is helpful in her approach to teaching.
