Laura was excellent in supporting my son with his A level sociology. Laura would als answer any questions my son had and provided effective lessons and exam guidance. My son unfortunately got an E in his sociology mock but with Laura’s support and her adaptive teaching skills, Matthew gained more confidence in the subject earning himself a C in his A level. I would thoroughly recommend Laura as she gave my son immense confidence through her teaching
ability and expertise.

I'm delighted with the level of professionalism, punctuality and reliability Laura has brought to each online tutorial with my daughter. Whilst she is friendly and approachable, she also has a wealth of experience and knowledge at her fingertips which is evident from the classes they've had together. Communication with Laura has been consistently easy as she responds quickly and politely to emails and was the first to raise possible issues (such as upcoming holidays). She has effortlessly adapted to my daughter's learning difficulties (dysgraphia and dyslexia) and has given the impression of being open-minded about the fact we electively home-educate. In short, Laura is a fantastic, personable tutor, clearly an experienced teacher, flexible and understanding of individual students needs. Laura's tutoring for my son's sociology A level has so far been excellent. He has found her really well prepared, engaging and very effective at helping him to get to grips with the subject. I can highly recommend her.

Initially appeared could offer support and set tasks for my daughter however Laura kept cancelling tutorials.My daughter requested one to one tutoring face to face -Skype wasn’t what she wanted.She has contacted her university to ask for further support on her **Web Address Removed** was disappointing as it took me a while to source a tutor.

Absolutely brilliant tutor,with a great knowledge about the subject she was tutoring my daughter and her friend.My daughter took sociology as a passionate subject five years ago and als been predicted grades below her abilities(D and C).Laura started working with her less then a year on tutoring AS level sociology.On the result day she went early to open the envelope and to find out her grades.She got an amazing A in sociology and two A* on the other subjects that secured her a place in her firm choice university.We recommend Laura to everyone that is looking for a such a lovely tutor .We also would love and hope to continue with her as a tutor in the coming years while my daughter is in university.

My daughter was fortunate enough to meet Laura after we used First Tutors to find some help for her with her Sociology A Level studies. At her Sixth form college there had been ineffective, weak teaching with absolutely no continuity of teacher or method of teaching. Her near disastrous AS results made it very clear that if she was to be able to follow her plans to attend University to study Adult Nursing, something had to be done, and quickly. I will point out here that I had already had at least 2 meetings with the head of sixth form regarding our concerns, and nothing changed.
We met Laura relatively quickly after we received her details, and it became clear very quickly that she was going to be a fabulous asset to my daughter's studies. Appointments were flexible and regular. There were no long gaps between sessions, and Laura prepared 'handouts' and other work for my daughter to keep and use as needed. Laura provided good revision and examination preparation tips. We received the A'level results yesterday and we are absolutely delighted. My daughter gained an A grade on the 'Beliefs in Society' paper, and a B grade in the second paper 'Crime & Deviance with Theory and Methods.' Needless to say,neither my daughter or I have any hesitation in recommending Laura as a fabulous, forthright, and approachable tutor. Don't hesitate, speak to her now. I'm certain, without Laura, today would be a very different day and my daughter would have to be looking at another long year at school or a complete change of direction for her future career. My only other comment would be that I truly wish we had met her sooner !

I was having problems understanding my Sociology A2 Level course. Laura really helped me to get my head around it, and I bettered my expected grade because of her. She was als available if I needed help. I'm so glad I found her.

Thanks to Laura's tuition I passed my A Level Sociology at grade B! She helped me with a re-sit of AS paper whilst working towards the A2 by providing excellent lesson structure to suit my learning style, good resources and feedback on my school work as well as work set by Laura herself. I felt much more prepared for this years exams and I would highly recommend Laura to any other student.

Very positive and really knew how to develop my weaknesses in a short space of time. Laura was available 7 days a week almost 24/7 and remained calm even when I was not.

This is the 1st time we have had a tutor and Laura has been brilliant only wished we had found her earlier!
