As an adult who is currently seeking a career change, I needed help writing a personal statement for university.
Laura mentioned in her bio that she helps people with career changes. And with her background, she seemed the most capable of delivering the best outcome. She was very inquisitive in gathering important information needed for constructing a compelling statement.
I like the way she constructed her lesson; it was very relaxed, proficient and, most importantly engaging.
I believe the tutoring session Laura provides is perfect for anyone of any age.

In the short time my son has been working with Laura he has made steady progress and is taking a keen interest in English. His focus levels have improved and Laura has been challenging him with the exercises he’s completing. She explains concepts to him in a manner he understands and he looks forward to their session.

Laura has been patient and engaging with my daughter. She is working towards a year 6 assessment and It was her first time attempting Verbal Reasoning. she is taking to it well and discussing the topic in detail with Laura to understand patterns and codes. Looking like she’s heading in the right direction and growing in confidence.

Laura is an exceptional English tutor who brings professionalism, patience, and dedication to every lesson. She has a remarkable ability to keep her students engaged, and both my daughters enjoy her classes immensely. They have shown great improvement in their English skills and confidence thanks to her thoughtful teaching methods. She consistently creates a positive and supportive learning environment. We greatly appreciates her hard work and feel fortunate to have such a caring and skilled tutor guiding their daughters in their English studies.

Laura has been helping my son with his English and Essay writing skills and has done wonders for him. He was a boy who really disliked poetry and after just a few months he now enjoys and understand it. With her. help he really got stuck into unpacking and analysing his literature texts and to the utter amazement of his school got an 8 in his English GCSE mock exams. She is now teaching him how to write essays which will help him in his other subjects too.

Laura helped my daughter with A Level law. She has a very nice teaching manner ordering work in a clear and logical manner and has a wealth of knowledge in the subject. My daughter can be quite difficult at times. Laura made her feel at ease and as a result by daughter benefited greatly from her lessons

We were looking for a tutor to prepare our son for the 11 plus exam this year. Our son is ASD and has ADHD and Laura has been excellent in her teaching methods and understanding how best to engage with our son to get the best out of him. He thoroughly enjoys his sessions and looks forward to seeing Laura each week.

I engaged an English tutor specialising in KS1 English for my 6-year-old son. The tutor adeptly tailors her approach to my son's learning needs, employing games and trivia to reinforce concepts and foster a love of learning. Thanks to her my son's confidence and proficiency in English have significantly improved. Laura has made a remarkable impact on my son's learning journey.

Our child was in Year 5 and needed extra help with spelling and writing. They enjoyed visiting Laura, who worked with patience and enthusiasm. She allowed them to work at their own pace while encouraging them to stretch themselves, and we saw clear improvements over the course of a few months.

I have been having tuition with Laura for the last 6-8 was as I was struggling with English literature at A-level especially with confidence. Laura is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. She breaks down the subject into to make it more understandable and has helped increase my confidence when analysing work in further depth and looking at different perspectives, which I had never thought about before. She helped expand my thinking through discussions about current affairs as well as helping me understand the play (East) which I am studying for my coursework. I would highly recommend Laura as a tutor.

During my time leading up to my exams with Laura, I found she was very helpful and productive at guiding me through my English GCSEs. I find it very hard to keep focused usually in English at school , but Laura's class she teaches in a fun way, this kept my interest as well as making you fell comfortable and relaxed for the stressful exam period ahead. She makes time for her students outside the sessions and will try to support in anyway she can. I would highly recommend Laura as a tutor.

We are very pleased with how Laura has been teaching our 8 year old. At this age, we needed someone who can teach with a lot of patience and at the same time keep the progress on track.
Laura set out a very clear timetable of activities that need to be done during the week to ensure progress.
Every month the progress is monitored and if need be, the way of studying is adjusted immediately.
Laura's experience and knowledge of English is commendable.
We look forward to a long term association with Laura to ensure our child's educational success.

We took Laura on a tutor this year for our 9 y/o daughter in order to help cement her learning and prepare for the 11 plus exam next year. After reviewing lots of Tutors Laura seemed perfect as she was local, could attend sessions in person and was very experienced. She has definitely lived up to her profile! from her first test session where she analysed our daughters needs, she has been fantastic in her teaching methods helping to cement mathematical or english concepts but also patient, kind and insightful, she has a lovely relationship with our daughter, so much so, that she looks forward to Lauras weekly visits. We would highly recommend her to anybody searching for a tutor for the children.

A very good Tutor!

We are a few weeks in to tutoring sessions with Laura to prepare my son for his 7+ exams, and so far I'm very happy. Laura has quickly made him very comfortable and she creates a calm, positive and relaxed learning environment in which my 6-year-old somehow stays focused for 90 minutes, hanging on her every word. She sets relevant homework tasks each week which seem well tailored to his needs, she has given plenty of reading recommendations, and she has been flexible about the topics we want to focus on. So far, so good! Would definitely recommend.

Laura's natural enthusiasm for the subject carries my Son along with her, overcoming any worries and providing a comfortable environment for learning where he can ask any question and develop a strong grasp of the fundamentals. It is a wonderful thing to see when you know your child is struggling and how Laura is helping by gently building his confidence

Laura is a wonderful tutor and person all around. She has been very dedicated to my daughter and is preparing her to take the 11 plus exams. My daughter has no complaints.

Incredible teacher! Laura is so open and free which makes a great working environment as you can ask any question you want and believe me, she will give a great response. I did A Level Law but I would highly recommend Laura for her other subjects. Given how great she was with me, I can tell she is just as good if not better with her other subjects.

Laura is helping my son prepare for senior school entrance exams with particular focus on English. Laura is kind and patient and her teaching style suits my son who is now becoming more confident in this topic.
