Hi I’m Lauren, I’ve been a History teacher at a secondary school in Birmingham for 5 years. During my time at the school I have also taught citizenship at KS3 and KS4. I can offer specific help with the History GCSE AQA exam board topics: Democracy and Dictatorship: Germany 1898-1945, Conflict and Tension: The Inter-War Years 1918-1939, Elizabethan England 1568-1603, Britain Power and the People c1170-present day.
Before I became a History teacher I worked as a cover supervisor, again at a secondary school in Birmingham. I have experience in teaching students of all abilities and students who need additional SEN support and my students have outstanding outcomes year on year. I currently teach History to all KS3 year groups and both year 10 and 11.
My teaching approach is student focused and we work as a team in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. I enable my students to strive for greatness and foster an environment in which students can thrive and achieve high aspirations in regards to their History education.
