Hi, I'm Lee! I'm a graduate of the University of Liverpool with over ten years experience as a Maths, Science and specialist Physics tutor.
I have had a keen interest in learning from an early age. As a student, I was eager to explore and understand the world around me. It was this thirst for knowledge that led me to study Physics! Years later, with my degree in hand, I hope to pass this same enthusiasm on to the next generation of students.
I have been working as a private tutor since September 2012, teaching Maths GCSE and A-Level, Science GCSE including Physics and Chemistry up to A-Level. I have also taught Functional Skills, the Numeracy Professional Skills test, entrance exams; general revision techniques and strategies.
I have tutored hundreds of students over the years and have a proven track record of success that I hope will continue for many years to come!
I believe that private tuition should be affordable and there should be no hidden fees. Your first lesson is free of charge and all resources, such as CGP revision guides, are included. I am also able to provide CGP revision guides for additional subjects at a reduced cost. In addition to this, I run a referral scheme offering free lessons in exchange for a referral to a friend or family member.
(Please note that for lessons at a student's home address there is an additional travel fee of between £5-10 per session, calculated by distance).
My tutoring approach is tailored to each student's unique needs. I like to sit down with the student and their parent or guardian before teaching begins to get to know them and develop a teaching plan. I also invite the parent or guardian to sit in on all lessons.
Once I have assessed the student’s needs, we can work together to develop and enhance their knowledge. I strive for my lessons to be fun and engaging whilst still challenging the student and encouraging them to achieve their goals.
