Firstly, I love to teach! It's a privilege to work towards goals with my students.
My favourite ways to spend my spare time are to go for a long walk, or to run!
I have enjoyed fairly extensive travel in the past, but pets come first now, so any time away is brief, and spent in the U.K.!
After qualifying in 2000, I taught in Norfolk, before returning to Devon. I have experience of teaching all Year Groups within primary school settings.
I have been offering private tuition for over 20 years. Much of my work has involved preparing students for their 11+ entrance exams. I also support other students with their maths and English work, to boost confidence and self-belief.
Having worked with hundreds of students over the years, my approach is completely flexible! No two students, or lessons, are the same; I have to adapt to meet the needs of all individuals. Underlying that is my dedication to ensure that all students achieve the very best that they can.
I am friendly, approachable and fair and students really enjoy their time with me. Parents often comment on my patience and my calm demeanor, and they really appreciate my open and honest feedback.
