The tutor was very nice and caring. However, my sister was not able to create a rapport with her. The documents that she wanted to teach was sent on email on the spot and not pre-prepared and it was difficult to prepare it for my sister as I would be away during those hours. I asked for homework to be set but still was not given.

Lesley took the time to put my son at ease and clearly has a lot of teaching experience.

I am so pleased that we found Lesley. My son had recently done his GCSE English mock exams and had struggled to gain a pass grade. Lesley has been excellent from the word go. Lesley is reliable and friendly and made my son feel at ease. In a short space of time he has already improved his scores and gaining confidence each week and is feeling more optimistic about sitting his exams this summer. Now after almost a full academic year I am full of praise and thoroughly recommend Lesley as an English tutor. She is a lovely lady who strives hard to ensure that her pupils enjoy her lessons, believing as I do that they learn more that way. After a full day at school, in the middle of winter and with quite a distance to travel, my granddaughter never complained about going to her lessons with Lesley. We asked her to help prepare my granddaughter for a 13+ entrance exam and she succeeded.

Lesley was superb with my son who had recently failed GCSE English. He had little to no interest in studying or in English as a subject. After becoming a student with Lesley he suddenly engaged with enthusiasm. My son said that he couldn’t believe the difference once Lesley came on board. Very experienced teacher and confidently help to assess my son's tutoring needs. My son is now more optimistic about his GCSE exams cause he feels he has a clearer direction on what he needs to improve on and what skills he needs to practice in terms of exam techniques.

Lesley is a lovely person and is focused on getting the best out of her pupils. Sally feels very relaxed with Lesley and looks forward to her lessons. Lesley has quickly identified Sally's weaknesses and is focusing on improving in these areas. Would certainly recommend her.

Lesley is an excellent tutor who shows incredible commitment to both the student and the parent. She is a very experienced teacher who has a wealth of knowledge with regards to the different exam boards and what they are looking for from the students in the exams.
My son grew in confidence after his first lesson with Lesley.
