I am an experienced French and Spanish teacher with over six years of classroom and tutoring experience at GCSE level. I hold a PGCE and QTS from the University of Brighton and a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Hull.
Having grown up in France and later lived in Spain while working as a TEFL teacher, I bring authentic language and cultural knowledge to my lessons. I enjoy helping students gain both confidence and strong results, whether preparing for exams or learning to communicate effectively in real life.
I have successfully supported many students in improving their grades, often by at least one level. Recent successes include a student who moved from a U grade in their Spanish mock to a 4 at GCSE, and another who achieved an 8 in French after regular tuition.
I work with learners of all abilities and believe languages should be accessible to everyone. My lessons are always adapted to the needs and goals of each individual.
My lessons are structured, interactive and engaging, combining conversation, grammar, cultural insights and exam practice. For exam students I focus on past papers, clear strategies and targeted feedback to ensure confidence on the day.
Parents value my supportive approach and the clear progress their children make, both in grades and in confidence.
