I love being a teacher and find great joy in helping my students grow and succeed. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and going for the occasional run on the weekends. I’m also a proud cat owner with two cats who always keep me entertained!
I have five years of teaching experience across early primary year levels. I spent three years teaching Year 1, where I developed strong skills in early literacy and maths, I then spent two years teaching Year 3, which allowed me to extend my practice to support students’ growing independence, critical thinking, and collaborative skills. This year, I am excited to be teaching Year 4, where I look forward to further developing my students’ confidence and preparing them for upper primary.
I believe that all students learn best in a positive, supportive environment that recognises their individual strengths and needs. My teaching approach is child centered, combining opportunities for collaborative learning and critical thinking. I use varied assessment strategies to inform my planning and ensure all students can achieve success. I am committed to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and every student feels a sense of belonging
