I am a passionate educator with over 15 years of experience in primary education, including roles as a senior leader and Headteacher. I believe every child has the potential to succeed with the right support and encouragement. Having seen first-hand the impact of tailored learning experiences, I understand the importance of adapting to each child's unique needs. This drives my commitment to creating an inclusive, flexible environment where every child is empowered to thrive.
I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, specialise in primary maths, and am a Chartered Fellow (CMgr FCMI). I am also training as an ADHD coach, deepening my understanding of neurodiversity and how best to support all students in reaching their full potential.
My experience includes participating in the Shanghai Maths Exchange, creating content for two leading national mathematics programmes, and serving as a visiting tutor and trainer for a School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, young people, and adults from diverse backgrounds, always focusing on helping them build confidence, resilience, and academic success.
I take a student-centred approach, tailoring each session to a child's current level, learning style, and strengths. My goal is to make learning accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful, helping students develop both academic skills and the self-confidence essential for lifelong learning.
How I Can Help
From Year 2 upwards, I offer personalised support to help children build confidence and develop strong study skills. Whether your child needs help with reading, writing, or maths, I focus on creating a supportive learning environment that nurtures self-belief and independence.
For exam preparation, from Year 4 onwards, I provide comprehensive 1:1 tuition, including focused teaching, resources, and strategies to manage exam anxiety. Whether your child is preparing for SATs, 7+/11+ entrance exams, or general assessments, I offer the tools and guidance they need to succeed.
If your child needs a boost in confidence, help with exam practice, or extra support in accessing the curriculum, I’m here to help.
