My son's lesson's are now well underway, he gets on with Lionel and likes his teaching approach seems to be working well.

Lionel has only had a few sessions so far with my child so it is too early to comment in detail, and I couldn’t truthfully give a rating of 5 for this reason only. However, my child has found these sessions very helpful so far. Lionel been easy to contact and make arrangements with. He has taken time to find out more about my child’s learning needs and the curriculum they are following at school. He appears to be kind, patient and engaging, and my child likes the way he explains things.

Lionel is by fare one of the best tutors I have had the pleasure of meeting. He has a vast knowledge of the subjects he teaches and has a teaching style that leaves you hungry for more. He is reliable and always very polite.

Thanks Tcharn. Keep practicing and revising and you'll soon get the hang of things. As you said maths can seem like a foreign language with its system of symbols. In fact it is a language, a language of logic. You are making good progress and beginning to really understand important basic ideas.

We are very happy with Lionel's accessible approach to the subject giving our son increasing confidence with his learning. Lionel is enthusiastic for the subject and our son feels he is a good tutor.

Thank you for the feedback. Your son is very level headed and he's much more aware now of what he needs to do for both the AS and the A2 exams. I think he will set realistic targets for revision but I will continue to stretch his ambitions so that he comfortably exceeds the offer grades- he'll be very pleased when he proves to himself that he can do well in the summer exams.

Lionel provided excellent support to my son in preparation for his AS level in maths. He immediately struck up a rapport with him and built his confidence, knowledge of the subject and exam technique. The results my son achieved in his mock re-take exceeded his own expectations and he is now back on track with progress towards his final exams. I would not hesitate to recommend Lionel.
