I am a Learning Support Assistant in a five form junior school supporting children with a variety of needs. This will be my fifth year working at this school, before then I worked at an infant/junior school for 2 years, therefore, I have a good knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum. I thoroughly enjoy supporting children who just need that extra bit of help or for children who just generally struggle with understanding maths. I am a mum of 3 children (2 grown up now) so have a great understanding of education from a parents prospective also. I am available evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Tutoring Experience

I am available for tutoring in maths where I have spent the last 5 years supporting children who find maths, or some areas of maths, tricky. I have a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and preparing children for SATs along with supporting my own children through this part of their education.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is to make maths as fun and accessible as possible so children that struggle do not feel overwhelmed or defeated. I adapt my teaching style to suit many different needs so children see learning as fun!
