I am a primary school teacher, currently teaching Year 3 and have been teaching for 15 years. I am confident teaching all areas of the curriculum all the way up to Year 6. I am a mum of two and now teach part time. I am passionate about teaching and love helping children learn in a hands on and fun way, finding what works best for them. I love teaching maths, reading, writing and history ( I am history lead at my school) but will happily cover all subjects, and want to support children to reach their full potential in the best possible wag for them.
I have been teaching for 15 years, going part time once I had my own children who are now 10 and 7.
I am happy to tutor face to face or over zoom. After a year teaching online, I have built my confidence and skills with this method of teaching! I'm keen to get into tutoring as I value that 1:1 time that is hard to get in the classroom when there are 32 children.
I believe in making learning fun and hands on. Breaking learning down and giving children the time to really master the skills they need. Modelling, practicing and utilizing what they have learnt to build their confidence with their own ability. I offer scaffolding to support areas they may find difficult to encourage independence as much as possible to build resilience and self belief.
