I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and have been tutoring for over four years. My academic background, combined with my passion for education, has given me the expertise needed to effectively teach both GCSE and A-level students. I focus primarily on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at GCSE level, and Physics and Maths at A-level.
Throughout my tutoring career, I have worked with five students in one-to-one sessions, both in-person and online. These sessions have allowed me to tailor my teaching approach to meet each student’s unique learning needs. As a result, I’ve consistently helped students improve their exam results, with all achieving at least a three-grade increase. My teaching is grounded in a solid understanding of the syllabus and a commitment to student progress.
I believe that every student learns differently, but my primary approach is to break down complex topics into simpler, more manageable concepts. I focus on identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses and adapt my lessons accordingly to build confidence, utilising textbooks and resources familiar to each student. Whether it’s working through difficult equations or preparing for exams, I provide personalized support that encourages active learning and helps students reach their full academic potential.
