I am a 20 year old at University completing a course to become a primary school teacher.

Tutoring Experience

I have assisted in my primary school since leaving in 2013 during secondary school. I then moved to sixth form to complete a course in Childcare and Education which required me to complete work experience every other week in a nursery or a reception class. Now I am at university training to be a primary school teacher, I have done 3 weeks of experience in year 4 in May 2021 and just completed 7 weeks in year 6 in May/June 2022.

Tutoring Approach

I have a very welcoming approach to teaching and been referred to having a ‘firm but friendly’ approach with the children. I like to make sure the children understand what they are being taught before moving onto a different topic.
