Hi, my name is Louie. I am a Cambridge based graduate with a degree in BA Politics (2:1) and an experienced surf coach. I have excelled throughout my academic career, achieving top grades at GCSE, A-Level and in my university dissertation. I hope to help my students reach the same heights.

Tutoring Experience

In my 2 years working as a surf coach, I have become accustomed to teaching students of all ages. I am used to giving helpful and constructive feedback, improving student understanding and performance, and ensuring those I teach remain engaged and enjoy themselves. Learning should be fun!

Tutoring Approach

I am comfortable tutoring students working to AQA, Edexcel, OCR and other syllabi to a high standard. I offer a calm and friendly approach to tutoring, with a view to forming a good relationship with my students and making learning as stress free as possible. Lesson formats will change depending on the needs of the individual student, but in general I will seek to teach or revise the main topics, and reinforce that learning through the use of practice questions and feedback.

To help make tutoring accessible to all in these trying times, I will be tutoring online, via skype, zoom or a platform of your choosing, and setting my rate as low as I can afford. Discounts will also be offered for students who need longer lessons or commit to a run of lessons. Keeping the mind sharp and engaged will hopefully make social distancing and isolation a little more bearable! I am available for tutoring 7 days a week, daytime and evenings, to fit tutoring to your schedule.
