With 23 years of teaching experience, I know exactly how to help students improve their confidence in History and prepare them for their final exams. I have an excellent track record of results with all my students achieving or exceeding their target grades.
I am a fully qualified History teacher with a BA in History and a PGCE in Secondary education. I also have 20 years of experience as an examiner.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught History for 23 years at Key Stage 3 GCSE and A level. I am passionate about my subject, and I love to see my students' grow in confidence and develop their enthusiasm for History.

As a former Head of Year and Head of Sixth Form I understand how stressful GCSE and A levels are, therefore, it is crucial to understand each students individual needs and ensure that every lesson is individually tailored specifically to them. I am able to quickly identify gaps in subject knowledge and focus my lessons towards this as well as consolidating exam technique.

Tutoring Approach

I currently teach Key Stage three, GCSE and A Level students online. All of my lessons are fully resourced with lots of focus on exam technique for GCSE and A Level. At the end of each lesson you will receive a copy of all of the resources used so there is no need to wast any of the lesson time making notes. I also provide revision guides, additional course notes and tips on revision techniques.
